Any time someone asks me my favorite color I could give them a number of answers. It depends on the day, the weather, my mood. So writing a brief paragraph describing ‘me’ that will be on this page for all eternity is paralyzing. Who I am changes from day to day, even moment to moment.

I love all types of music depending on my mood. Music speaks to me and inspires me whether it is Rob Zombie’s rock beat or Michael Nyman’s classical piano. I adore beautiful sunny days on the beach as well as stormy nights that cause the house to shudder. (I detest winter, however.) I love dressing up and going out but would be just as happy in my pj’s on the couch. I need solitude and quiet but crave loud music and dancing with friends.

Variety is a necessary word in my world but there a four things that haven’t changed over the years: I am an only child of two wonderful, supportive parents that taught me to dream. I am the wife of my rock-star husband who grounds me; he is the calm in the midst of my storms. I am a mother of two beautiful kids; they move me to laughter and tears in the blink of an eye. And lastly, I am a woman who reads books, writes books, and sails. One day, very soon, my husband and I are going to escape our landlocked status and sail around the world.
